2021 Race Update

January 31st, 2021 – Fernie, BC

With a lot of uncertainty surrounding the coming year, we’re continuing to log some serious mileage to make 2021 happen, while putting the safety of you + our local community, first and foremost.

ELK VALLEY ULTRA: JULY 24, 2021

We’re crossing fingers that come July 2021, we’ll be free to roam in the beautiful Fernie backcountry. However, we are fully expecting to have to make some big modifications to make this race happen…

ROLLOVER RACERS:
2020 racers who requested a rollover, are now registered into the 2021 race.

LOOKING TO REGISTER?:
Registration is set to open tomorrow at noon, HOWEVER, with capacity limits on gatherings still expected to be in place come July, at this point we aren’t able to let any further racers in. We apologize for this, but it’s out of our hands.

JOIN THE WAITLIST:
If you are keen to race, you may however join the waitlist – which opens tomorrow, Monday February 1st at noon (MST). If spaces come up, we will then invite racers in order, from the waitlist, so don’t miss out on this opportunity.

PLEASE NOTE:
There are NO TEAMS in our 2021 race. Soloists only.
There is also a route change – detailed on the registration page – which we think will be even better/harder, (we’ll let you decide)…

EVU WAITLIST

LONE WOLF: SEPTEMBER 25, 2021

NEW 2021 RACE DATE:
September 25, 2021 at 9am. It’s of course up to you when it ends.
Due to the congested format of this race, we made the move to September – with the hope we’ll be able to have a whole lot of fun in the Den by then.

ROLLOVER RACERS:
2020 racers who requested a rollover, are now registered into the 2021 race.

LOOKING TO REGISTER?:
Registration is set to open tomorrow, Monday February 1st at noon (MST). While we’re feeling a lot more confident about this September race, we are still keeping numbers down as a safety precaution. As such, we are limiting capacity to 100 racers total. After this is filled, the waitlist will start – and if we can open up more spots, we’ll invite racers from the waitlist, in order.
